Do you believe that Elijah was taken into heaven in a whirlwind?

That Enoch “walked with God”?

Then why don’t you believe that the Blessed Virgin Mary could have been assumed into heaven?

Absolutely. Scripture tells us that.

Then why don’t you believe that the Blessed Virgin Mary could have been assumed into heaven?

Not *could have been*. *Was* Because Scripture DOESN'T tell us that.

Technically anything is possible. That doesn't mean cause someone didn't say it didn't happen that we can assume that it did.

That's folly.

Scriptural, so yes.

It appears nowhere in scripture. If you want to conjecture that Mary jumped on a surplus WWII German flying saucer and was whisked away to a subterranean base beneath the polar icecap, that would have just as much Biblical support.

“Then why don’t you believe that the Blessed Virgin Mary could have been assumed into heaven?”

What leads you to believe that it happened?

#1: In the bible

#2. In the bible

#3. Not in the bible.

Why don't you 'believe' that I have pet unicorns, as well as goats, in my pasture?

The first two are specifically mentioned in the Bible; the third is not!
