How is the official status of atheism as a religion going to effect the ACLU’s position of separation of church and state?
Another image of their "god".
One solution is to re-read the invocation from the Congress, Supreme Court or the State legislature, entering it as a “report” in the Agenda.
It adds stomps the lofty notion so many "atheists" have of clinging to "a religion of no religion." Their own peculiar claim of "freedom from religion" is clever marketing but sophistry.
When you choose not to decide you have made a choice.
Out of respect of respect for thinking atheists out there, I do concede that many among themselves and their fellow believers look on this action by this group and this body of government and are embarrassed by it. One group of self-proclaimed, true believing atheists does not speak for every atheist any more than the Westboro Baptists speak for, or are representative, of Christians.
North Alabama must be full of these militant atheists in order for this to be occurring.
Atheists don’t have beliefs they have ideas.
we thank nobody but ourselves. we are our own gods, if we must have them. live well today, tomorrow you’re worm food. save mother gaia, this is all we have. and help me to remove any reference to god anywhere because we can’t stand seeing anything that reminds us the vast majority of people don’t think like we do. amen to no one,
there ya go, an atheist ‘prayer’
Unless they start showing up at the annual New York City Muslim Day Parade and demand that the Muslims go home and and that their prayer display on Madison Avenue is outlawed the courts should tell the to STFU!
