Organizers of the so-called People’s Climate March expect more than 100,000 people to fill the streets of midtown Manhattan on Sunday, demanding action on global warming.
It promises to be one of the largest cult gatherings in U.S. history.
And it will take place two days before President Obama and world leaders gather for an “emergency” climate summit at the United Nations.
The march is the brainchild of Bill McKibben, a celebrated environmental activist. In May, he issued a “call to arms” in a jeremiad published in Rolling Stone magazine, which exhorted climate change cultists to descend on New York City today.
He characterized global warming as nothing less than “the biggest crisis our civilization has ever faced.”
Such hyperbole is typical of those who accept as an article of faith the fundamental tenet of global warming – that man has dominion over the planet, including its climate, and not the Creator of heaven of Earth.
That includes President Obama, who has prostrated himself before the altar of global warming, declaring in his state of the union address this past January that “the debate is settled. Climate change is a fact.”
That was followed this past May by the Obama administration’s Third National Climate Assessment, which asserted, “Many independent lines of evidence demonstrate that the world is warming and that human activity is the primary cause.”
But there’s an insoluble problem with the global warming narrative promulgated by Obama, by McKinnen and other climate change hysterics: Global warming has stopped.
Indeed, just this past week, we learned that Antarctic sea ice has expanded to a record high level, which shouldn’t be happening under the climate change doomsday scenario.
And, in August, an article published in the journal Science confirmed that there has been an unexpected “global warming pause” since 1999.
Climate change scientists have no plausible explanations for these phenomena. But those of us who are Christ followers know the answer.
It’s God.
And His word declares: “I will destroy the wisdom of the wise; the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate.”
So let the global warming cultists have their march. Let the rulers of this fallen world have their climate summit.
The Earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it. Including the climate.
All their collective ‘body heat’ and co2 exhalations won’t change the climate by a smidgem. These are people who could just as easily bought into the Jonestown kool-aid collective. They believe in nothing so they can believe in anything.

“expecting 100,000” is the only news I can find, but I’m sure the much smaller crowd that will appear will leave behind a substantial mess. Should be interesting how the MSM attempts to make it bigger than it is.
ISIS may just emphasize at the march that they are more important than that whole climate change BS.

....The march was organized by a dozen environmental, labor and social justice groups, including the Sierra Club, Avaaz, New York City Environmental Justice Alliance, 350.org, the Transport Workers Union Local 100 and 1199 S.E.I.U. In addition, more than 1,570 “partner organizations” have signed on to march.
Because nothing says “Climate Change” like PAID Union thugs!
It’s always PAID protestors, with these lefties.
They worship the climate more than the Creator of it. Have at it then....One thing is the Lord created heaven and earth and humanity will never destroy either. The Almighty true God will not permit His authority over the universe to be trumped. Heck He will never let tiny Israel be destroyed and His will be done. Godless humanism is a fools religion.
