On a bumper sticker ... “It is finished” is Jesus’ proclamation of the completion of the final passover. Scott Hahn explains it in detail ... it really is a worthwhile read. Even all my non Catholic friends I’ve shared this with enjoy it. It’s a solid, fact-based write up.
