Not necessarily so but the final straw is that it's not in Scripture.

If it's not in Scripture, there is nothing binding on the believer to believe the nonsense that deifies Mary.

It is in the scriptures (please refer to posting 125), you chose to ignore it.

The Catholic Church does not “deify” Mary, the Mother of Jesus. Please provide a valid reference to your heretical comment.
