Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by meIt does not say "I am the way, the Catholic church, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me after being pointed in my direction by Mary after she is prayed to.
The simple message of the Bible is just that, simple truths that lead to a born again relationship with Jesus Christ and by extension Father God.
Jesus nailed it, and then was nailed to the cross for daring to profess that He...and only He...is the pathway to God.
It is so easy to understand that children understand the Bible. OT: I am living in a townhouse until we decide what to do with my house. Went over there and am so upset. Found these things missing:
All my stainless silverware. They even got things from the dishwasher.
Pots, pans, lids
All dishes
All glassware
$425 in rolled quarters
I am so disgusted that people would do that. Talked o my insurance lady and she told me to make a list of things missing. Have not looked in bedrooms, basement, etc.
