A lot.
Why are you changing the subject and dragging him into it?
I'm not. It actually goes to the heart of the matter. Protestants do not possess the pure faith they think they do. If you were to trace the genealogy of a protestant confession (which includes any iteration of "just me and Jesus" as expressed by a protestant) you'll always arrive at its genesis. Whether its Luther, Calvin, Zwingli or whomever. To Jesus, through the Reformers.
Do not pretend to speak for this Protestant. I go directly to Jesus not through anyone else. Frankly, I do not think of those people. Why should I when I have a direct line?
Well, that’s wrong. I never heard of some of those reformers when I got saved so they have nothing to do with it.
My devotion is to Jesus, not to any other man.
It is readily apparent that that concept is simply beyond the comprehension of any Catholic, being raised as they are to trust in and follow priests, bishops, other leaders within the church, and of course, the pope.
While Catholics don’t seem to be able to understand it, not everyone else thinks like they do because not everyone has been indoctrinated like Catholics have been raised.
Nobody needs to go to Jesus through ANYONE.
Jesus is accessible to all people all the time.
There’s no mediator people need to get to Jesus. HE is the mediator Himself between man and God.
Yes, we have a direct line to Jesus.
