You consider those who murder Christ's followers superior to those who worship Him?

Who said I was taking sides? I'm merely pointing out a historical fact and doing a little prophesizing. Surely, protestants don't have a problem with that since they make careers out of writing and promulgating end times garbage; treating Scripture like their own personal Ouija board.

Simply put Protestantism and the fruits of that movement have weakened us. The relativistic nature of Protestantism has left us unequipped to deal with the threat of Islamic conquest. It presents no coherent theology or moral standing with which to combat the Muslims.

Your hatred has blinded you to the point you side with those who despise Christ! You have bound yourself to those who murder, rape, torture and mutilate God's people and you will share in their destruction when He returns to establish his 1000 year reign.

I'm a baptized Christian who professes Christ as Lord and Savior. I won't be sharing in any destruction. Unless, of course, that isn't enough to be saved...

To be more specific, I'm referring to this pagan babylonian goddess nonsense and the "hocus pocus" attitude towards the Eucharist. Where a protestant can chant the "magical" words of, "I accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior" and they are saved, a miracle, but deny the same to the Eucharist and castigate it as some sort of medieval chant.

Funny thing is, it's the priest who mutters the *magical words* and claims to have the power to turn a piece of wheat into the literal body and blood of Christ.

I find it extremely ironic, and hypocritical, to castigate non-Catholics for the very things not only Catholicism teaches and does, but brags on.

I saw one which had, “if it talks like a duck, then you are drunk, because ducks do not talk.”

Why was a statue of Mary on the same level as the one of Jesus? Looked like worship to me.

I’m a baptized Christian who professes Christ as Lord and Savior.

Is this sufficient or do you require a “co-redemtrix” or “intervener?”

hocus pocus

As a point of information to the origin of the word. Warning, will require reading skills and thinking cap.............

http://greatriversofhope.wordpress.com/2012/04/12/hocus-pocus-what-happens-when-gods-word-is-obscured/

In a similar vein, those who are interested in the arts of prestidigitation know that all magicians, as they ply their trade, use certain sayings to make their magic come to pass. They will recite certain incantations, such as “abracadabra,” “presto chango,” and perhaps most famous of all, “hocus pocus.” Even today we use “hocus pocus” to describe a type of magical art. It is an incantation used for the magician to perform his magic. But from where does the phrase “hocus pocus” come?

The origin of it is once again borrowed from people’s misunderstanding of the language used in the Roman Catholic Mass. In the words of institution uttered in Latin in the ancient formula, the statement was recited as follows: “hoc est corpus meum.” This phrase is the Latin translation of Jesus’ words at the Last Supper: “This is my body.” But in the Mass to the unskilled ear, the supposed miracle of the transformation of the elements of bread and wine into the body and blood of Christ were heard under the rubric of language that sounded like “hocus pocus.” These kinds of derivations are a direct result of people’s being involved in some kind of drama where the words that are spoken remain unknown to them.

Here we have the Pre-islamic Goddesses in the Arabic peninsula :... They are 3 celestial bodies.... The moon decrescent one is the wisdom of age (Menat).... The first one is Venus, morning star (Uzza). ...And the strong 'mother' one is the Sun (Allat)....So all false religions and cults have and continue to have female idols/goddesses or they tweek them to fit the beliefs of the moment.

I’ve heard this claim yet I attended Mass from birth to the age of around twenty and never heard the passage in Leviticus 14 concerning mold and mildew read out loud. I also hadn’t heard Numbers 5: 11-31, the test for an unfaithful wife.

Or a word from Obadiah. Here is why.

The problem is it's very clear that the Mary of the Bible was blessed...so too are many other Christians then and now.....Jesus was also very clear NOT to put her above her role....rather rejoice that our names are written in heaven.

This isn't about drive by or misinterpretation....it is all about catholics reconstructing something, which isn't there, in order to retain and maintain this false worship of a non-biblical mary. All false religions do this as well as cults.

Additionally catholic-ism makes everything far more complicated then Jesus ever intended.....once they joined in with Roman Intellectuals everything could be changed and determined according to the wiles of the catholic leadership..and they did just that.

The Mary of the Bible was not sinless.....the arguments played out here on the threads time and again regarding this....but ‘blind eyes and itchy ears’ cannot bare the truth because to do so would mean the whole house of cards catholics have built around “their church” rather than the Savior Jesus Christ and His Gospel message, would come tumbling down...as it should...and will one day.

Your scripture references and argument holds no water as they have been clearly shown as yet another of the same ol’ empty arguments when up against the true Mary ‘of scripture’, and discerning those as they ‘are’ rather than twisting them to suite the false catholic agenda of keeping her elevated as their co-redempterous...which she is not nor ever was. Quoting the same old catholic teachings handed down by twisted Priests and false teachers, rather than seeking the truth as it is, is a well troddened path by most catholics.

It’s intretesting that Catholicism uses all three of this symbols. The star, the sun burst and the crescent moon.

The Ark was a type for Mary. (The contents were a type for Christ, and the Ark was reserved In the Holy of Holies.)

Then God’s temple in heaven was opened, and within his temple was seen the ark of his covenant. And there came flashes of lightning, rumblings, peals of thunder, an earthquake and a severe hailstorm. A great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet and a crown of twelve stars on her head. She was pregnant and cried out in pain as she was about to give birth. --Revelation
Mary is the Queen of Heaven, and the Queen Mother of the New Davidic Kingdom, of which Jesus is King.
Revelation 3:7

“To the angel of the church in Philadelphia write: These are the words of him who is holy and true, who holds the key of David. What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open."

The Gebirah, the Queen Mother of the Kingdom of Judah, was the most important and influential woman in the royal court and the king's chief counselor, and sat at his right hand.

1 Kings 2:19

Then Bathsheba went to King Solomon to speak to him for Adonijah, and the king stood up to meet her and paid her homage. Then he sat down upon his throne, and a throne was provided for the king’s mother, who sat at his right.

For those who are led by the Spirit of God are the children of God Romans 8:14

Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God. Matthew 5:9

But those who are considered worthy of taking part in the age to come and in the resurrection from the dead will neither marry nor be given in marriage, and they can no longer die; for they are like the angels. They are God’s children, since they are children of the resurrection. Luke 20:35, 36

For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. Galatians 3:26

Yet to all who did receive Him, to those who believed in His name, He gave the right to become children of God John 1:12

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know Him. 1 John 3:1

and, “In the very place where it was said to them, ‘You are not my people,’ there they will be called ‘children of the living God.’” Romans 9:26
