Mary was Jewish and her son, Yeshua, was Jewish. Jesus (Yeshua) said salvation comes from the Jews, the small microcosm of mankind that He chose to reveal himself through. The Jewish Apostle Saul of Tarsus told “us gentiles ;-)) that we are grafted into the Jewish faith when we accept Yeshua, the Jewish Messiah. So in a sense, we are Jewish proselytes who believe in the Jewish Meschioch. Mary, the new Eve, is a hero in the faith!

Nah...We are grafted into the Christian faith, not the Jewish faith...And Jews are grafted into the Christian faith as they leave the Jewish faith...

When the power of the holy spirit overshadowed Mary God supplied himself to be born of the Virgin. She is the spouse of God in the sense that the power of the Holy Spirit brought abut Jesus into the world.

No matter how hard you try, it's not there...And thank God it's not there...The last thing we need is the mother of God who is the wife of God and who is the wife of her son who is the mother of God's son who is also the daughter of God and the daughter of her son Jesus...That's quite a mess you got going on there...Way, way too much paganism there...Do far better to just stick with scripture...In fact, quite the contrary...

False, there is nothing wrong with stating the obvious from scripture. Jesus is God, therefore Mary is the mother of God. This is a broken record.

It certainly is not obvious from scripture...And you are right, your religion sounds like a broken record...

You come by your opinion based on what? You are not disagreeing with me. You are disagreeing with Paul, Jesus, Isaiah, etc.

"...salvation is from the Jews" - John 4:22

"...you will say then, the branches were broken off that I be grafted in" - Romans 11:19

"...there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious. - Isaiah 11:10

I am aware of this false prophecy. Scary that a demonic apparition can cause people to fear, rather than the true Word of God...

"...but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembleth at my word." - Isaiah 66:2

If you fell into a hole and I saved you by pulling you out would I be any less your savior if I stopped you before you fell into the hole? He was her savior. She was ‘Full of Grace’. His Grace.

FALSE! His name was changed from Saul to Paul after his conversion.
We are NOT Jewish proselytes.
And (SIGH)...Mary is NOT ‘the new Eve’ NOR ‘a hero in the faith!

Of course Mary needed to be saved by her Son. But why do you think Jesus told John that she was his “mother”?

If Mary plays “ZERO” role in today’s world, was she wrong when she said “all generations will call me blessed (Luke 1:48).”

Jesus said John the Baptist was the greatest human being born up to his time. Yet Jesus says the least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than John the Baptist on earth. (Mt 11:11) This is one of the reasons I cannot except the idea that believers have power through prayer on earth but then become powerless in Heaven until the General Resurrection.

But again, what is your interpretation of Jesus calling Mary “Woman” in John 19:26 and telling John that she is his “mother” in John 19:27?

I’ve always wondered why it is so hard for non-Catholics to see that she was saved by God. He took away her sin before she was born.

I've often wondered why it is so hard for Catholics to read and understand God's word. The wages of sin is death. Sin may be “covered” by animal sacrifice but may only be removed by full punishment (death). Only Jesus’ pure, sinless, precious blood could remove our sin.

He did not “take away” Mary's sin. He paid the penalty for her sin and everyone else’s at calvary.

Abandon your man-made traditions and read His word.

If you understood the importance of Mary, chances are you’d be busy worshiping Christ in the Catholic Church.

Are you suggesting Mary enjoys being the focus of pagan worship?

That means she knew she was a sinner, something that she would not be if she had no sin nature.

As I said, the only way to take away sin is through the penalty of death, which Jesus took on our behalf.

Some people have an obsessive need to worship a goddess.

Jesus said something about the new wine and the old wine, anyone tasting the old wine would find it superior.

The law hasn’t passed away, it was fulfilled by Jesus.

As I said, the only way to take away sin is through the penalty of death, which Jesus took on our behalf.

And God cannot take away sin in any other manner? And whose to say that the salvific nature of Christ's sacrifice is limited in a linear fashion. Here's a thought: Maybe the salvific nature of Christ's sacrifice applies outside of space and time. Imagine that. A God who isn't constrained by the temporal plane. The protestant god is a small god indeed. Confined to an artificial man-made construct meant to ensure that god does not escape outside the bounds of human "reason".

Some people have an obsessive need to worship a goddess.

You might as well have said some people have an obsessive need to worship a deity. I mean if someone is going to put forth the standard atheistic secular polemic then might as go all the way. Ah, but that only applies to those "other" people. Not me. I have the true faith. Anyone with an ounce of intellectual integrity knows that Catholics do not worship Mary and that she is not a goddess. I wonder if protestants realize just how insane they sound when they start spouting this esoteric and gnostic da Vinci Code pagan garbage. It would be laughable if it wasn't so pathological.

You can't have it both ways.

God is a loving God but He's also a just God.

He can do what he wants but He follows his own rules.

Do you believe God is a masochist? He went to the cross to pay or all sins. Unless His word is a lie that includes Mary.

The goddess you worship is false. Turn away before it's too late.

Oh...it’s sadly amusing to hear people who condemn non-cathothics for “sola-scritura” and in the same breath condemn them for “making things up.”

How about those papal decrees?

By the way. The di vinci code was made up by atheists. Your blind hatred is only overshadowed by your ignorance.

Print this out...

CLUE

Carry it. Now you have a clue.

He went to the cross to pay or all sins. Unless His word is a lie that includes Mary.

It's not a lie, unless one has only a limited understanding of God's omnipotence. From our point of view, Christ was, is, and always will be the Savior. The Blessed Trinity has no beginning and no end. Christ was the Savior from the beginning. So yes, Mary was in need of a Savior, and by the power of her Savior, her son, Christ she was kept from sin.

The goddess you worship is false. Turn away before it's too late.

And I would say to protestants turn away from sinful pride and embrace your Blessed Mother. Turn away from the pride of being your own authority on matters theological and spiritual. You've done enough damage fracturing the Body of Christ and western civilization in your pursuit of a,"personal relationship with Jesus" exclusive of all other considerations. In all reality, protestantism is the existential threat, not Islam. Islam just kills the body. Protestantism kills the spirit.
