A request was left with the communications department at the Archdiocese of Washington seeking comment, specifically, as to whether or not the Archdiocese shares Popes views. A spokesperson said they were unable to immediately comment.Dolan is a buffoon. But he is a big nasty vindictive buffoon. Don't be surprised if this is the end of Msgr. Pope's blogging on the archdiocesan website.

Gone are the days of Cardinal O'Connor. Even Guliani knew he could not come up and receive communion at St Patrick's.
O'Connor had to be dead for the Clintons to get into the church.

I am extremely disappointed in Cardinal Dolan. I stay a Roman Catholic in spite of most of our crummy Bishops. Sometimes I wonder who they are working for.

Vindictive indeed! As Our Lady of Akita stated in 1973, "The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres..."
