I really don't understand why certain people find the Mother of Jesus Christ to be such a threat. I also don't understand the vehemence that they come with.

There's no threat. There is however, the correct interpretation of the Word.

False teachings, like the RCC does with Mary, that aren't supported by the Bible, need to be addressed when espoused.

That still does not answer my question. I don not find the teaching to be false. So what are you going to do about it? Wiser people than you have believed the teaching, I side with them.
