Actually, you're wrong. In the past 200 years, the proportion of scholars who believe in the historicity of Jesus has been dropping (in the pre-Industrial Age, virtually all of them believed it).

There is a new trend of people having profound spiritual experiences that are life transforming. The frequency of these events is on the increase. Many of these people see Jesus and experience His Love during the experience. Their comments are usually along the line of "I have no doubt that Jesus is my savior." I've even had Jews share this experience with me in confidence, explaining that they have been devout Jews, attending services, children are in the Jewish school,.... They can't share their experience with anyone as they will be alienated from their own families. Times are changing as we are now in the springtime of soul growth. The Holy Spirit is working....
