Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Almighty and Everlasting Father,
How Glorious and Wonderful is Your Most Holy Name!
You Alone Are Worthy of Worship and Praise,
For You Alone Are The One True God,
Almighty and Eternal,
Glorious and Transcendent,
Rock of Ages,
Ancient of Days,
King of Kings,
and Lord of Lords!
Melt our hearts, Oh LORD,
And Give us hearts of Compassion.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Jeremiah sings this heartfelt lamentation over the City of Jerusalem that has been destroyed by invaders. What was once a great, shining city on a hill has become a ruin and a laughing stock for the known world. Her people have been reduced to slavery, the Temple destroyed, and all the riches and holy objects have carried off to Babylon.

Jeremiah compares the Jackal, a mammal, to the Ostrich, a bird, to show the degradation and lack of compassion that have overtaken his People. The jackal was bad, but the Ostrich is even worse.

In modern times, the ostrich has come to symbolize complacency, denial, and cowardice. The legend of the ostrich "putting his head in the sand" tells of the vast majority of citizens who allow corruption and evil to flourish by ignoring it, hoping it will go away. It never does. Evil will flourish as long as good people do nothing.

Come and Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen
