Whaaaa.....? The Catholic Church owns the Body and Blood of Christ? But seriously, how much is a consecrated host worth?

Oh, but you miss the real point here, Alex Murphy... According to this construct, a roman priest can enter my home, mumble a few arcane words, and walk off with all my crackers!

Considering God consecrated it in the first place, it might be a little tricky for man to undo His work.

Considering the church claims to have power to bind and loose here on earth and forgive or retain sins, then what's this all of a sudden that GOD consecrated the host?

The priest had nothing to do with it then?

What the RCC here fails to see is that if they can use the government against someone they disagree with, then someone else can use the government against the RCC.

Catholics everywhere should be against the use of governmental force to enforce religion. That’s not what this country is founded on and if they succeed, it will come back to bite them.

The sword cuts two ways.

This is a stupid move on the part of the RCC.

I went to catholic grade and high school. The people doing this are doing it because they know how upset catholics will be. They’re playing into the satanist hands. God doesn’t need us to protect Him.

Psalm 37

1 Do not fret because of those who are evil
or be envious of those who do wrong;
2 for like the grass they will soon wither,
like green plants they will soon die away.
3 Trust in the Lord and do good;
dwell in the land and enjoy safe pasture.
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you the desires of your heart.
5 Commit your way to the Lord;
trust in him and he will do this:
6 He will make your righteous reward shine like the dawn,
your vindication like the noonday sun.
7 Be still before the Lord
and wait patiently for him;
do not fret when people succeed in their ways,
when they carry out their wicked schemes.
8 Refrain from anger and turn from wrath;
do not fret—it leads only to evil.
9 For those who are evil will be destroyed,
but those who hope in the Lord will inherit the land.
10 A little while, and the wicked will be no more;
though you look for them, they will not be found.
11 But the meek will inherit the land
and enjoy peace and prosperity.
12 The wicked plot against the righteous
and gnash their teeth at them;
13 but the Lord laughs at the wicked,
for he knows their day is coming.

Considering it’s only “all of a sudden” in the way that those who have lived in the dark find that turning on a light is “all of the sudden” illuminating, it’s sweet to see your mind open to reality. God bless, sister in Christ.

I agree with Father Z on the Leonine Prayers after all Masses everywhere.

A way to protect our county.

That's true...And just think if it's a grocery store...

They claim that even a bad priest, one who doesn't even believe in the church still has this power because it was passed on down from a bishop...

I can just picture a priest walking into a cracker warehouse...Making millions of Jesuses...He does his thing, turns around and smiles and flips the light off before walking out the door...

But yet they have told us many times that the cracker doesn't really turn into Jesus unless the person eating it really believes (like Dorothy)...

A curious religion...

Well, then, we don’t need the priests then, do we?

LOL! That represents the Bishop’s staff — not his body.

Catholics are so tongue in cheek challenged.
