Refugee Samo Ilyas Ali has nine children to feed but he can't focus on the future because the sounds of women and children crying out for help while being buried alive by Islamic State militants in northern Iraq often consume his mind.
Tens of thousand of Yazidis fled their ancient homeland of Sinjar and other villages to escape a dramatic push by the Sunni militants who regard the ethnic minority as devil worshippers who must embrace their radical version of Islam or die.
The refugees sit idle in camps in the semi-autonomous Kurdish region in northern Iraq.
Traumatized by Islamic State militants notorious for beheadings and mass executions, they have simply given up on Iraq and want to go as far away as possible; to countries like Germany, worlds away from their mysterious customs.
U.S. air strikes against Islamic State positions and vows by Kurdish commanders to recapture Yazidi villages provided no reassurances.
It's easy to see why.
Ten days ago, Ali and his fellow villagers were suddenly surrounded by Islamic State militants with machine guns at night. They had long beards. Some had face masks and Arabic writing on the sides of their heads.

You’d think the civilized world would agree that this is one cancer that needs eradicating as soon as possible. But it seems liberals sympathize more with the cancer than they do the patient. They still think they can find a nonviolent solution.
These are the people the Obama Administration supported using our tax dollars.
Is Obama invoking the field-tested, Clinton-Obama Benghazi Rule for the US to not prevent the ongoing genocide of Christians, and Yazidis in current US Ally Iraq?
BTW, the Clinton-Obama Benghazi Rule is as follows:
“1.) ALWAYS STAND DOWN WHEN MUSLIMS ATTACK,
2.) WAIT FOR THE MUSLIMS TO FINISH THEIR BLOOD SPORT KILLING, AND
3.) THEN DO NOTHING.”
I am glad that liberal news outlets like Reuters AP etc, are now all of a sudden concerned about the atrocities , but they were not moved by things of this nature when Bush was President...
The stories of the Iraqi Christians in deep trouble came out long ago, long before ISIS took as much real estate as they have.
I can now see these same liberal media etc shortly being on board for US Troops back in Iraq which is great, but just think how much better it would be had they not openly worked against the US mission in Iraq under Bush.
We had the solution, we won and were on our way to stabilizing that region; right up until jug-ears pulled all American Forces out and BROADCASTED the date when he would do it (not to mention arming these assholes). Once again, democrats F things up and then wonder how things "got this way".
I hope they make it out.

They’re most probably not concerned about the Christian, rather the “devil-worshipping” Yzidis. I’m sure the Libs figure the Christians have it coming to them.
yes there`s that, I hear you. None of the atrocities to any group in Iraq troubled them before, children in prison, etc etc
They don’t “wonder how it got this way”. They find something else to blame, therefore are unable to learn from their mistakes. The result is they keep making the same ones over and over again. And every time they do, they think its failure is due to not enough of the same.
But then, blaming liberals for what liberals due is futile in itself. They’ll never be accountable as long as they’re so full of self-flattery, and willingness to point fingers at others without thinking.
No, that isn't it. Remember in ‘08, ‘Never let a good crisis go to waste’? El-Presidente thrives on chaos, it is how he consolidates power. Terrorism creates chaos. They think they can deal with the degenerates after they get complete control.
Militants??? REALLY??? Look how ludicrous that headline is. It should read: “Yazidis Haunted by Cries for Help as SAVAGES Bury Victims Alive”. If they can’t muster the courage to come up with accurate names for them, at least call them “Terrorists” - NOT “Militants”.

They think they are brilliant and thus cannot ever be wrong in their approach to a problem. Thus when their solutions fail it is because they did not do enough of them or take them far enough. It can never be because their idea was stupid; because they are brilliant. This causes them to do the same things again and again while expecting different results.
