Considering most of the Hindus I know drink like fish I find that a little hard to believe. I guess maybe they “believe” it... but they sure dont[sic] practice it!

Interesting. I have known dozens of Hindu's for 15 years plus and none of them drink.

All the ones I know pretty much do, at least the ones here. My wife is Indian, Catholic. But most of them are Gujarati, hotel/liquor store owners. probably the older generation of Hindus are that way.
