1 Thes. talks about the people who have already died. And the end of the world. Nothing about any rapturing here.

17Then we who are alive, who are left, will be caught up together* with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Thus we shall always be with the Lord.

Apparently, from the very scriptures you quoted, there are clearly those who are alive and remain at this event which leads to meeting Christ in the clouds.

Which judgment and resurrection are you referring to? The first or second?

Revelation 20:1-15 KJV

And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand. And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years, And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection. Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of God and of Christ, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison, And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea. And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from God out of heaven, and devoured them.

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

No Paul says those in Christ will meet Christ in the clouds and be with the Lord from then on. You posted the verses it is clearly right there.

Are you mixing Revelation with First Thessalonians? Goodness, what would St. Paul say? LOL!

Frankly you are mixing Revelation with First Thessalonians. You stated that 1 Thessalonians 4 was the Judgment. Revelation describes the two resurrections and two judgments. Not Paul. Reference Revelation 20.

wrong, the Catholic Church has always taught the Church is spiritual Israel and if a Jew wishes to be saved they must do what a Gentile must do to be saved, they must profess the Catholic Faith and they must be baptized into Christ for the forgiveness of their sins and receiving the Holy Spirit. same as Peter preached in Acts 2. the Catholic Church also teaches in Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek, all are one in Christ.

Then the Catholic religion has always taught wrong...Jews and Gentiles alike are grafted into Jesus Christ, not Israel...They are adopted as well as we are...

The Jews are better off staying where they are at rather than professing the Catholic faith...

LOL, exactly the Kingdom is not of this world because it is a spiritual Kingdom. why make the same mistake the 1st century Jews did and look for a physical Kingdom??

They were looking for a physical kingdom and Jesus knew it...And Jesus said that kingdom was not NOW (but later) from his world...You can't be a Catholic unless you pervert the scriptures...

Zec 12:4 “In that day, saith the LORD, I will smite every horse with astonishment, and his rider with madness: and I will open mine eyes upon the house of Judah, and will smite every horse of the people with blindness”

boy, that will be something to see when all those horses are smited and the soldiers on them go mad. see how silly dispensationalism is?

You got a lot of guts mocking the words of God...But heh, have at it...

was Golda Meir part of Israel as defined in the Bible?
was Golda Meir saved, assuming she never believed in Jesus Christ?

let’s see who can answer two simple yes or no questions.

Golda is as saved as you are...You will both stand at the judgment and be judged on your works...The thing you don't understand is that there won't be any Christians at that judgment...

The Scriptures are clear, Jesus will have one second coming and when he comes again, it will be Judgement Day, the end of the world. 2 Peter 3:3-10.

So the thousands of scriptures in the OT describing the physical kingdom and reign of the King on earth is meaningless...Wasted ink...I like God's interpretation of the scriptures a lot better than I like yours...

Only Yehova knows Golda’s heart.

But even ELSIE knows what the BOOK says...

“was Golda Meir saved, assuming she never believed in Jesus Christ?”

John 3:18

John 3:16-18

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son.

The word “rapture” is not in the Bible.

The word “catholic” is not in the Bible.

Be sure to provide the English translation when it is not commonly known.

INDEED!

btw, the Lord isn’t going to judge everyone according to their works and we aren’t saved by our works.

I agree, IF by judging you mean SALVATION.

John 6:28-29

Then they asked him, “What must we do to do the works God requires?”

Jesus answered, “The work of God is this: to believe in the one he has sent.”

However...

Revelation 20:11-15
"Then I saw a great White Throne and him who was seated on it. Earth and sky fled from his presence, and there was no place for them. And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and THE BOOKS WERE OPENED. Another book was opened WHICH IS THE BOOK OF LIFE. The dead were judged according to their works as recorded in the books. The sea gave up the dead that were in it, and death and Hades gave up the dead that were in them, and each person was judged according to their works.  Then death and Hades were thrown into the Lake of Fire. The Lake of Fire is the second death. If anyone's name was not found written IN THE BOOK OF LIFE, he was thrown into the lake of fire."

Nothing about any rapturing here.

Well; when a church TEACHES that many folks are already up in Heaven NOW (Saints, Mary...); then rapture would tend to be downplayed quite a lot!

I would say the same thing to someone who quotes only 1 Thes. 4:17 — they take that one verse entirely out of context.

Then could YOU post it IN context?

Using the surrounding verses to prove your point against it?

Only the elect will be resurrected at the trump,

Surely you have some scripture to illustrate this assertion?
