Fear not, faith phonies everywhere! When the anti-Christ is revealed, both of these churches will jump on the one-world religion bandwagon. In fact, they will work tirelessly to butcher every believing Christian they can find.

Catholicism and Anglicanism can indeed reach full communion, but only when the Anglicans dismiss those parts of its own communion who are in variance.

The overwhelming majority of Anglicans are African, whereas its stricken and withering, even dying parts are in Britain and North America. Those in Britain who could not tolerate the collapse have joined the Catholic church via its Ordinariate. The rest fall away.

In North America, the conservative Anglicans have become African missionary Anglican churches, leaving the failed Episcopalian church to die out as well.

So what remains is that the African Archbishops and Bishops accept that the Church of England and the Episcopal church are no more, that they have discontinued being part of the Anglican communion.

And once this is done, the Anglicans are but a half step away from communion with the Catholic church.

Pope Leo XIII was truly a prophetic pope.

"You have sate too long for any good you have been doing ... Depart, I say; and let us have done with you. In the name of God, go!"

This is all that's left of him (nobody knows where the rest of him is):

If you mean the C of E, organizationally, returns to Rome as is, yeah, that’s probably done for now. Which is not quite the same as a non-trivial part of the C of E joining the Tiber Swim Club.
