It was a century ago that the Catholic Bishops first called for socialized medicine. In the 1930s they worshipped at the shrine of FDR. Since then they have continually perverted Jesus's call for charity into a call for government welfare.
Thats a big generalization. Catholics have ten's of thousands of hospitals across the country. They have always wanted to help the poor. Every single religion has been infiltrated and manipulated by enemies to humanity, the only difference is that the tenets of the Catholic faith remain unchanged, unlike every other religion out there.

Precisely. That's what the Church has been doing for centuries. Unfortunately, our Bishops have decided to turn that over to the government. Worse yet, there are some who condemn as "heartless" any who oppose turning charity over to the government.
