Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Our Father in Heaven,
How Hallowed and precious Is Your Holy Name!
King of Kings,
Lord of Lords,
Ancient of Days!
Dear Father, as we look around us,
We See Desolation and Despair.
It is so easy to become discouraged,
As We See The Enemy Press in on all sides.
Open Our Eyes, That we may see Your Glory and Your Provision.

We Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem,
According to Your Will and Promise.
We Pray For the People and Leaders of Israel,
that They Will Look to You for the Protection
and Prosperity of their Nation.
We Also Pray For Revival in our own Beloved USA.

We Pray For The Swift and Sure Coming of Messiah,
Blessed Be He,
To Establish His Kingdom,
and Make All Things Right.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.

Hallelujah and Amen

Pray For the Peace of Jerusalem

Bears appear frequently in the Bible. In all instances, they are ferocious beasts, but nearly always are used to the Glory of God.

In the Story of David and Goliath, David illustrates that God is with him, by relating how he was able to defeat a Bear and a Lion to save his Father's Sheep.

In the Story of Elisha, a gang over over 42 "Youths" attack a Prophet of God when he is alone and vulnerable. The taunt "Go Up, Baldy" was the gang's taunt. They were, in effect, calling Elisha a "leper" and they were telling him they were going to send him "up" to heaven, like his mentor Elijah. The translation from the Hebrew does not do this story justice. Anyway, if the bear mauled 42, and the rest ran away, that was a large gang of "youts"!

The Passages from Daniel and revelation use the Bear to Symbolize Great Tyrants. In Daniel it is Alexander, and in Revelation, it is the Antichrist.

There is an Apocryphal Story that when Alexander conquered Jerusalem, the High Priest recognized him as the Bear from the Book of Daniel. These stories are not Scripture, but they do add to the sweep of History and how the Bible relates to our culture.

Today, the bear symbolizes Russia, and California, both of which are very much in the News. The "Climate Change" enthusiasts have co-opted the Polar Bear as their symbol, and Bears are very much a part of our popular culture as well.

Come and Pray For The Peace of Jerusalem, For Our FRiends in Need, For Persecuted Believers, and For Our Beloved Nation.

Blessings To All Who Visit This Garden of Prayer.
