There is no such thing as the Christian Left since Leftism is atheistic, anti-God and antithetical to basic Christian doctrine. Those on the Left who claim Christ are as obedient to Him as they are to any moral principle, which means not at all.

"For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many." - Matthew 24:5

Anyone who endorses Socialism (theft), abortion (murder), radical environmentalism (idolatry) and homosexuality (an abomination before God) is not a Christian. They are like their father Satan. Christ condemns them as Almighty God who only speaks truth:

"Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." - John 8:44

The Left has infiltrated the mainline Protestant churches in America as well as the Catholic Church. The late Bible teacher and pastor Dr. J. Vernon McGee predicted that eventually the believing Church in America would have to go underground due to persecution. His prediction of who those persecutors would be? The mainline Protestant churches themselves. They will receive their matching orders from their Satanic masters to seek and destroy all those who love Christ.

"Yea, the time cometh, that whosoever killeth you will think that he doeth God service." - John 16:2

When this happens, we cannot be lead as lambs to the slaughter. Christ also told us:

"He that hath no sword, let him sell his garment, and buy one." - Luke 22:36

Give the devil and his mainline evildoers no quarter. Christ says to buy a sword. He means for us to use it.
