Its sad that in the whole liturgical year there isnt a feast dedicated to the Father. Isnt it time? Maybe it is because I grew up in a dysfunctional family, but it seems to me we celebrate the Father at least every Sunday in the form of the Eucharist? It is at that time my heart, my soul does cry out for Abba, my Father.
Yes, I do understand the point of this piece as I lived that fatherless type childhood. Our whole family would be very, very different today if my earthly Dad had practiced what he preached.
