This whole thread is interesting because it presumes something that is not scriptural.

We are not to pray to either Mary or Jesus. Jesus Himself instructed us on how to pray, and He specifically said who to pray TO in Matthew 6:9.

Since we are not to pray to Jesus, praying to Mary is a waste of time, effort, and adoration.
