"God is generous to a fault for he wants all people to come to him."

I believe he only wants the elect to come to him. But since I don't want to hijack the thread and turn into a free will vs. predestination debate (which inevitibly become nasty and mean spirited, although not by you) I will just agree to disagree with you on this and take comfort in the 90% of Christian theology we do agree on.
