my husband and I have not attended a “church” for over 15 years...we read and study our scriptures daily, we have prayer together every day, we live by Faith...
I teach two Bible studies in our home every week and have for years...we keep Yahweh's holy Feast days and His Sabbath. The Father has been faithful to answer many of our prayers with miracles and has kept us in our old age. After many years of observation and participation with the organized church I see great deception and weakness. The Catholic church began at the Nicean Council in 325AD with the Roman Emperor Constantine and then the Protestant church was an anti Semitic breakaway with the same traditions and doctrines of man. The first Believers met in homes without the big business aspect of paying the clergy and building up man's doctrines and traditions. I guess I am a purist but I have to tell you it is sooo freeing to be out of religion. I believe and stand on the Gospel that was preached by Jesus himself and His disciples not the gospel the church preaches...and before everyone jumps down my throat, don't challenge me unless you know the gospel Jesus preached and the Kingdom of God is a cop out...I want to hear the FULL gospel. I know it...do you? probably not, because your “church” doesn't teach it and I am not being a smart aleck, as this has grieved my heart for years...It took courage for me to leave the “church” and depend on God and God alone for His promised guidance...He has been more than faithful...

Well said! I’m with on that whole thing. We also do not attend one of the mainline or organized religions.

The faith aspect is very important, for it is from the word of God, but also it is very important to have the fellowship of believers. Even in the NT book of Hebrews it says that is it important to keep fellowship with the believers in the Lord.
