Let's intercede for them. Let's raise them to our Lord in prayer. How I waste my Adoration Hour thinking trivial thoughts or even listlessly reading "spiritual" books when I should be laying out my heart and soul for those who so desperately need my prayers.

And who's not included on that list...?

I want to jump in and add--- the the benefit of those who don't know Melinda Selmys --- she's a married "gay" woman who's married to a MAAN. Like marriage as defined by Divine and Natural Law! And they have had six kids the usual way! Her husband explains the gay thing's in the capital-P Past: "My wife used to be a dyke."

It's true her thoughts are sometimes a little zig-zagged and too touchy for my taste. Nevertheless there are people of a like-tempermental sort, moody and sensitive and contrarian, perhaps, who strongly "get" what she says, and what they "get" is they don't have to act out on lesbianism. And that "not having to act out" is a good thing.

What you say is true, but would her remaining chaste because those are the rules [of the CC] convince any other person identifying as "gay" to change their course in life and also remain chaste? In other words, I think Eve's post could be more complete.

Years ago, there was a man online discussing his porn addiction, and it was both tough and very, very uplifting to read, because he went through the different Sacraments of the Church, and explained how they helped him. It's a remarkable testament, and anyone addicted to porn then would at least have positive avenues to follow if they chose to do so. As it stands, it's good to read Eve is chaste, but it would be helpful if she told people how that is achieved through the Sacraments.
