HughE, thank you for that reply. I think I’d have to say it is the best reply I’ve ever gotten here, and that’s really saying something.
What you say is quite interesting, and I do remember talk of DES and some bad affects it had on female children of women who’d taken it.
I can certainly understand feeling uncomfortable as the sex you are. I myself have often wondered if I wouldn’t have been happier as a man. However, I think I would have gotten into a lot of fist fights, so I’ve always put that on the other side of the scale.
Quite frankly I don’t really care if someone wants to “live as” a man or woman. What does bother me is surgery, people in the wrong restroom (ok, penises in the girl’s room, since that’s really it) and attempting to classify pre-pubescent children as some sex besides what they seem to physically be. (I understand there are some children with hermaphroditic issues, but I’m not talking about that. Those are difficult situations, although I admit they might be easier to deal with in the current climate. Which is good for those very few people.)
But thanks, very much for your input, I will keep it in mind.
