So they have played the “Jooooooos” card now.

They played it right around yesterday midnight: Lefties Drag Cantor's Jewish Faith Into Shocking Loss....

Washington Post reporter Aaron Blake told CNN on Tuesday that candidate George W. Bush "just didn't pay a high enough price" in the 2000 election for his DUI arrest that occurred more than 20 years prior.

Just why is it important now?

To paint conservatives as anti-Semite. Nevermind that his religious affiliation never came up and played no role in either his victories or his loss. Time for the victim card.

NB Publisher Bozell Slams WashPost Blogger for Requesting Dirt on Gingrich Via Twitter
By NB Staff | November 29, 2011 | 17:55

The Washington Post should either fire Aaron Blake or “acknowledge that it doesn’t have a semblance of objectivity left to it,” NewsBusters publisher Brent Bozell told Fox News Channel’s Neil Cavuto on his Your World program this afternoon.

The Media Research Center (MRC) founder was reacting to this November 28 tweet by the Post political blogger (video of segment follows page break):

Left pivots from ‘Tea Party is dead’ to ‘Tea Party hates Jews’ after Cantor loses

Dave Wasserman @Redistrict

There will be lots of 2nd guessing tmw on Cantor loss . Surely will focus on debt ceiling/leadership role, but his religion a role too?

Really? This is the spin the left is going to put on the VA-7 primary? House majority leader Eric Cantor lost his primary because Republicans don’t like Jews?

OK, I’ll suggest to Murray Sabrin that he run and we will have a Jewish republican in the house.

Since no Christian denomination considers Mormonism Christian, why would an anti-Christian newspaper call it Christian?

“And not only that; it also means there will likely be no Republicans in Congress who profess to be anything other than a Christian.”

Not true. I believe Keith Ellison is a Muslim and didn’t he take the oath of office with his hand on the Book of Satan er the Koran?

One of the comments at the site was excellent:

Eric Cantor was Jewish 14 years ago and was elected to Congress.
Eric Cantor was Jewish 12 years ago, and was elected to Congress.
Eric Cantor was Jewish 10 years ago, and was elected to Congress.
Eric Cantor was Jewish 8 years ago and was elected to Congress.
Eric Cantor was Jewish 6 years ago and was elected to Congress.
Eric Cantor was Jewish 4 years ago and was elected to Congress.
Eric Cantor was Jewish 2 years ago and was elected to Congress.
Eric Cantor was Jewish and pushed illegal immigrant amnesty and was defeated in the primary.
He must have lost because he was Jewish.

Just another example of the leftist media’s hatred of the Christian religion... complete with a comparison of the “Republican Christian theocracy” to the Taliban in the comments below the article. Just so you know, the Protestants are also getting hosed.

Just why is it important now?

ALinsky tactics.

The shooters in Las Vegas allegedly draped a victim with a Gadsen Flag with a swastika on it (that alone is a cognitive disconnect, imho, and why that event reeks).

The media are trying desperately to make some sort of connection between the TEA party and neo-nazis and such.

It was one of the attacks used (with some success) on Militia groups during the Clinton Administration after the Oklahoma City Bombing, equating the then equivalent of 'bitter clingers' (Bible reading, Constitution suppporting, gun-owner types) with the likes of Stormfront.

It is part of the Left's campaign to present Conservatives as a 'hate group' in order to get people to dissociate themselves from Conservative values, especially with the anti-RKBA media putsch going on as a preparatory bombardment for the next assault on the Second Amendment, partly as a distraction from the crimes of the Bergdahl swap.

I am Jewish and my response to this article is, “So what!”

Congressmen are supposed to represent us in political matters, not religious ones. I don’t care what religion my reps are, so long as they abide by their promises and their oaths. I am glad that Cantor is gone.

As for txrefugee’s comments, he can stick them where the sun don’t shine. Yes, SOME Jews like and benefit from big government, but some vehemently oppose it and don’t benefit...just like Catholics, Protestants, Moslems, Hindus, atheists and so on. Nothing like displaying your ignorance and prejudice for thousands to see. Moron!
