From the original post (and from the KJV):

For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth. - Matthew 12:40 KJV.

Three days and three nights.

According to traditional timeline...

Friday 3:00 PM - Jesus dies.
Friday sundown - Those preparing tomb and Jesus body stop due to end of day on Shabbat, stone seals tomb.

So Friday 3:00 PM to sundown equal 1 day?

Friday sundown to Saturday sunrise - 1 night (no dispute).
Saturday sunrise to Saturday sundown - 1 day (no dispute). Nothing done to Jesus's body or tomb due to Shabbat.
Saturday sundown to Sunday sunrise - 1 night (no dispute)
Sunday sunrise - Jesus rises, tomb preparers arrive at empty tomb. Some disciples meet the risen Jesus.

First thing Sunday morning equals 1 day? And we're still missing 1 night.

Note here I never dispute the Resurrection of Jesus Christ; I indeed believe that happened. It's just that the traditional timeline of the Resurrection, the one that was used to justify Sunday as the "Sabbath", doesn't add up to me.

From my older research Jesus was crucified and died on Thursday, the year of the Jewish Holy High Sabbath of Passover, not our Sabbath. He arose on the first day of the week...so Thurs, Fri, and Sat nights explain the three days and three nights....I’ll check back and see if I can find the actual year it was thought to happen as those Holy Sabbaths change by year, and that one was on a Thursday.

Does not add up to me why He who created iron and wood and Man would allow the creature to Nail the creator to a Cross.

Jesus would have died sometime shortly before sundown on Wednesday afternoon, then Joseph of Aremetha would have placed him In the tomb...maybe Thursday in tomb, as sundown is change of the Jewish day, not actually Thursday yet when he died.
