The Freedom From Religion Foundation sent a letter of complaint to Clemson University, citing concerns about how much religious influence coaches have on football players, according to The Greenville News.
According to the foundation, Clemson football coach Dabo Swinney has promoted a culture in the program that violates constitutional stipulations of the separation of church and state.

Someone needs to pay a visit to various members of the FRR after dark as they exit/enter their vehicles and ‘encourage’ them to take up a different hobby.
"The Freedom From Liberalism Foundation sent a letter of complaint to Clemson University citing concerns about how much liberal influence professors have on students"
Who gives a hoot(supply your own word) about what the Freedom from Heavan Foundation wants?
As a Tiger fan and Clemson resident, I am 100% behind Dabo and will rally all of my Gamecock friends. Let’s stop the nonsense!
No one is compelled to be a part of the Clemson football program. No one in the program is compelled to be a Christian.
This reminds me of a spoiled brat whose behavior got him dismissed from the Clemson football program. I don’t follow Clemson football, but I did see a headline about some player in the last few weeks. Hubby was telling me about this guy who seemed to have an entitlement mentality and that he is not surprised Dabo would kick him off the team. He also said Saban would not even consider offering for the guy a few years ago when the boy was in high school.
I don’t know Dabo though he was at Bama when I was. I do know Coach Stallings who no doubt had some influence on the young Dabo. Coach Stallings has his beliefs though he did not impose them on others. I would expect Dabo is the same way.
I have been waiting to see some sports programs receive attention from the anti religion crowd which wants to impose its views on all. I love it when I see athletes join together after an athletic event to pray. :-)
I’m still trying to find the words “separation of church and state” in the Constitution.
We need a group to enforce the barrier between State and Church. “Freedom from Statism”.
It ain’t about “Freedom From Religion”. It’s about establishing atheism as the state religion by default with a wink, wink nod, nod to Islam to fill the void thus created.

These atheists are on a Christian hunt. I wonder if you throw a Christian into the river if he will sink or swim.
There are NO “constitutional stipulations of the separation of church and state.”
If religion upsets them so much they should do like the men in THE MAN WHO WOULD BE KING and keep their eyes closed so they will not see “evil”.
Even better, they should gouge out their eyes so they will not see religion in the American life, and if hearing it offends them, they should then run chopsticks in their ears to stop the sound of prayers.
It was a phrase taken from a Tom Jefferson letter to a pastor who thought another pastor’s religion was going to become the Nation religion. Libs have used it ever since.
