1. I embellished a little, there. There are accounts from those surrounding Stalin on his deathbed that several times he appeared to breathe his last, but then finally his eyes opened, wide with terror, as he raised his hand and pointed at something that appeared to be above & behind the watchers at his bedside. Stalin seemed to be trying to tell them what he saw (the Gates of Hell), but then his hand dropped down & he died.
It was a fitting death to a monster. I have read that he made Hitler look pretty meek and mild in that he tortured and kill FAR more of his own people than did Hitler.

Undoubtedly Stalin was TAUGHT to have that monstrous ego. As they say, by two years of age "the cake is baked."
To me the presidents of Russia seemed to have taken on the mantle of czars.

What an arrogant jerk. One does not “earn” one’s place in Heaven. Faith in Jesus is all it takes. Bloomberg thinks too much of himself....pride is not a virtue, it is one of the deadly sins.

I can't imagine anything worse than a dictator of good deeds trying to buy his way into heaven, doing things for the people's own good.

How about if that Dictator of Good Deeds were a billionaire, but spent OPM to do each good "deed", all the while taking full credit?
