Protestants created the division in the first place.

Great quote:

“Since Christ suffered for the Church and since the Church is the body of Christ, without doubt the person who divides the Church is convicted of lacerating the body of Christ.” – Council of Florence, Session 9 (23 March 1440)

#1 The Council of Florence is absent from my Bible.
#2 Protestants created the division in the first place.
No actually when Rome drifted from the Truth (capital T)is what created the division.

We didn’t divide with Rome. In obedience to the Scriptures, Protestants fled her apostasy and rank idolatry. Union with Rome isn’t an option for the people of God.

Luther thought the Pope would want to hear about the corruption. Surprise! Arrest+death warrant! Glad things have calmed down since then, but Luther never left his call. Rome should rescind his excommunication.

I suppose Catholics just lap this stuff up...Fact is, the bible self defines what the church is and your religion doesn't even come close to what the church of the bible is...

That alone disqualifies any discussion of the scripture on the part of the Catholic religion...

You don't even know what the church is...You're certainly not going to influence anyone who is a bible believer...

You are correct ... the first Protester, Christ, gave the 'money' quote ... Luke 12:51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, NAY; but rather division:

The church is not suppose to be the object of worship.

Post #2 sanitize to FR standards:

Answering Protestants - with propaganda.
Shaming Protestants.
Setting up barriers between you and Protestants.

Well you will answer for sewing division in the Body.

Christ suffered and died for the sins of man in order that they would believe and have eternal life.

Protestants created the division in the first place.

The Council of Florence was AFTER the east/west split that happened when the Orthodox broke away from Rome over Rome's novel and unscriptural doctrines of Papal infallibility, supremacy, purgatory, Immaculate Conception and a few others.

The Reformation reiterated and rejected some of these SAME errors of Rome. It sounds like it is Roman Catholicism who is "lacerating" the body of Christ by her insistence on heretical doctrines and her presumed supremacy over the very word of God. Not much has changed in a thousand years! The TRUE body of Christ will never be divided.
