I just realized a new movie genre has been created and I didn’t even notice. It’s the “Fiction based on real people” Genre. There have been three that I know of:

1. The Last Temptation of Christ
2. Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter
3. Noah

Are there any others I haven’t thought of?

The highbrows call it “verisimilitude” - not the genre but an instance of it. It’s nothing new.

You could probably add “Abraham Lincoln Vampire Slayer” to that list. Just a thought...

I was always partial to the cartoons of Elvis and Jack Nicklaus as detectives working together. Elvis and Jack Nicklaus Mysteries
