The Bible is the foundation for Christian belief, you cannot take the Bible out of the equation and have a healthy church. It is why so many liberal churches are dying on the vine. They provide nothing to aspire to.

Yes, the seeker friendly churches are doing much damage. I think part of it is also due to the lack of sacrifice it takes to be a Christian in out current culture.

The Roman Catholic church = the epitome of the *mega-church*.

One leader, thousands of churches worldwide, allegedly 1.2 billion strong.

If that’s not a mega church, I don’t know what is.
