As acknowledged by you, Mary and Joseph’s wedding had not yet been consummated, and that while more than an engagement, in Jewish culture, the marriage had not been finalized. If you study scripture, you also know that Joseph considered divorcing Mary because of her pregnancy. It seems you wish to play a game of biblical “gotchya” Certainly not an example of loving one’s neighbor from someone who wishes to spend eternity with Christ.

You are missing the point of my post. If Joesph wasn't married to Mary, why would he want a divorce? The whole point of my post was to say Christians have no clue about Jewish wedding customs. Many non believers say Mary was a whore and Jesus a bastard, not realizing Mary was married( in Jewish eyes), when pregnant. Joesph was the one that knew she had not been with him and that she shouldn't have been with anyone as the wedding hadn't been consummated yet.

Besides, my post wasn't addressed to you.
