Cardinal Donald Wuerl, Archbishop of Washington DC says, "I would recommend to individuals, and particularly to families, this wonderful story of the Son of God in order to be inspired all over again with the story of Gods love for us. It is a joy to watch this film bring alive the pages of the Gospel to help us see what those who lived at the time of Jesus experienced." - http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-religion/3126487/posts

He must have not watched it. The danger of these types of movies is that they rewrite and portray history differently than what it was and inject their own flavors and spin into it to change the viewer’s attitude toward’s different Subject matter or they pick and choose what they want to be in it for the same reason. Look at it for what it really is - a political tool and a lie or distortion of the truth which is still a lie. Satan is still up to his old tricks. He invented a god to mislead people and is about to use it to take over nations.
