Dear Salvation, I haven’t been on FR very long, have never done a vanity and haven’t asked anyone for anything to date. I’m writing to ask if it is at all possible for a prayer request for 2 of my sisters who are facing surgeries this week. One on Monday 2/17 for heart surgery and the other sister is on Tuesday 2/18 for a double mastectomy with breast cancer.
I’m beside myself with concern and know all to well the power of prayer. If this is in anyway inappropriate, I sincerely apologize. I was unsure where to turn in my time of need.

The heart surgeon was convinced last week that stents were needed asap, and yet today, he saw NO need!

Some wondered if perhaps the doctor had made an error, to which I remind them that she has been seeing this heart surgeon for years now, it would be quite rare for an error of that measure.
I’m am so relieved, and so very thankful.

AAG, just delighted to read the news of your sister’s avoiding the heart surgery because there’s nothing to operate on! Wonderful.
May your other sister enjoy a complete and speed recovery. I will be spending tomorrow with a friend who underwent that procedure 4 years ago and who is impossible to keep up with...wishing same for your sister.
Both my sisters are so touched, as am I.
My baby sister is scheduled for 7:30am tomorrow, the doctors said it could take 5 to 7 hours. I weep just typing that.
To have such relief today for my oldest sister was a blessing and I am so thankful for the generous outpouring of prayers.
To go into tonight with new prayers for my baby sister is much more difficult than I expected. Does that make any sense? Two conflicting emotions I guess.

I admit, I’m worried for my sister regarding the surgery first and foremost, along with the recovery that sounds just awful. Mentioning your friend gives me comfort!
