In a recent Sunday School Class, the lesson was on family, the subject came up of what family was. Some said one union was a family and another supposed a different union including same sex couples. I spoke out, although I raised my hand I didn’t wait to be called on, I said “I refuse to call two queers living together in any relationship a family. They are simple two people of the same sex playing house.”
The woman behind me angrily told me that we are to love all people and that what I was saying was hate speech, that the word I was using was a hateful word. I explained that what they were doing was “queer” it was not “gay” as she called it, I reminded her that there was nothing gay about what two men do together in the privacy of their bedroom. I reminded her that their life span would be half of normal because of their “gay” lifestyle. I reminded her that the last 25% of their life would be gasping at life trying to hold on to it as they suffer from their illness brought on by their lifestyle.
I further explained that the queer lifestyle hits a lot of families and that I had no hate for queer people that in fact that I had compassion but that the more we tolerate it the more our children will think it is ok and experiment with it.
There is no room in society for the tolerance of homosexual lifestyle.
It got real quiet after that. That evening I got a call from a member of the church whose wife was in attendance. He told me that he was grateful that I stood up for truth and wished that the members of his congregation would do the same.
The woman behind you misunderstands the term “love’ If I love somebody and Know what they choose to do will harm them —may even lead to death-—IF I love them I will do whatever I can to pull them from the consuming fire -lest they die in their sins.One does NOT HATE someone they tell the truth to—unless their motivation is evil.
