Uh, looks like it came to pass for him.
gee, what a swell guy!!
“His independent Christian media empire spent millions of dollars — some of it from donations made by followers who quit their jobs and sold all their possessions— to spread the word on more than 5,000 billboards and 20 RVs plastered with the Judgment Day message.”
All it proves is doomsday is coming for everyone
When I first committed my life to Christ over 30 years ago, I listened to Christian Radio non-stop.Some of the programs were helpful to me, and some were not, but none of them caused me to actually feel CREEPY except Harold Camping’s program called “Family Radio”. He was positively ABUSIVE to the poor souls who called his program looking for answers from the Bible.
Even as a “baby Christian”, I knew there was something seriously wrong about that guy.
He will have a lot to answer for, I am afraid. We are ALL sinners, but causing people to stumble when they are honestly seeking the Lord is particularly egregious, in my very humble opinion.
Al Gore is the left’s Harrold Camping.
He’s not the first to profit off of the Apocalypse and he won’t be the last.
If nothing else works, death does.
I listen to Family Radio because it’s the only Christian program on the radio that has decent music.
I don,t believe he deceived any one, he only deceived himself.
People just follow the ones they want to believe.
Saw this yesterday. Didn’t happen on the date he thought, huh?
“Camping also offered a measured apology, adding that he felt so terrible when his prophecy did not come true that he left home and took refuge in a motel with his wife.”
Dear Everybody,
Sorry you didn’t die.
Sincerely,
Harold
