yes— you did a fair job of it. In my estimation— a man identifies himself by his actions. If a man is born anew -in my opinion— Christ ought be his focus—ought become his identity He will still sin and sometimes willfully— but if he has accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and has surrendered to that transformation he can never again identify by what he has died to. I still have a drink —on occasion but I can NEVER enjoy drinking until I have fallen down drunk.
That former thing has lost all appeal.Before I was born anew I worshiped my fantasies and tried to act them out.Pursued the pleasure —Now I can enjoy a beautiful image and worship the Creator,Not the Creation.
