I didn’t know Solzhenitsyn was a prophet......
If there aren’t many of them and all Christians opt out of the army, next they will reinstate the draft for both men and women.
Yes, history is repeating itself. During the Roman Empire, at least Christians had only one enemy: the Emperors and their henchmen. Now, we have two: the secular, pagan proselytizers and those who want to chop off our heads. That is why I get very discouraged here on FR to see Christians (Protestants/ Catholics) bashing each other and calling each other illegitimate. Brothers and sisters, we’d better all hang together or we’ll all hang separately.
That us where we find ourselves today...
I won’t be a wiiling martyr without taking a few with me on a ride to eternity or not...: )
According to the article, “Nation of Islam” is one of the listed “hate groups”.

Thanks for the anti-christian ping.
I love that.LOL
I think we can both figure out what they have in mind.
Bush started this. He stocked the military with radical, ultra-P.C. leadership.
That is interesting. I did seem to detect the ‘diversity is our strength’ ideology beginning to stir in those years. I would be interested to read anything you may have that corroborates this suspicion.
Jeepers... thanks for the ping!
The Army responded to AFA:
From the AFA website:
“The U.S. Army has admitted it was wrong to use false information in a recent training module that named AFA as a “domestic hate group.” The lie had been widely disseminated by the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC).
Army spokesman Roy A. Rolan Sr. responded to a Jackson, Mississippi, reporter and said soldiers who attended an October briefing at nearby Camp Shelby will be notified that the SPLC’s “hate group” label is in error and should be discounted for what it is — false and deceitful.
The Army’s statement said a trainer created the slide portraying AFA as a “hate group” without Army approval, and it was not produced by the Army and “does not reflect its policy or doctrine.” Read the U.S. Army’s full statement here.
AFA’s initial concerns have been addressed, but work remains to be done. We have documented cases of this type of false assertions against AFA being used in military training resources on other bases.
It is critical that the Pentagon and those who train our military personnel be clearly instructed to discount and refrain from using any information that they have not verified, especially when it comes from groups such as the SPLC, which is well known for spreading falsehoods.
I deeply appreciate your prayers and support. I assure you, your AFA will continue to vigilantly defend religious freedom for those who serve in the military.”-—AFA action letter
No way in the world I could recommend military service to any young man or woman now. Especially a Christian. Never thought I would live to see the day that sexual harrasment now includes how to ward off advances by predator homosexuals. But it does. Saw a poster just the other day with two male airmen, telling them they didn’t have to take sexual harrasment and if anyone “touches” them in an inappropriate manner to report them to your commanding officer. Unbelievable is all I can say. In the old days a homosexual that was charged with sexual misconduct was shown the door. The charge was typically apathy and defective attitude and conduct not conducive with good order and discipline. Sodomy was a crime since the the founding of this country, then along comes Obama and the US military, along with the rest of society is completely transformed and make to accept what was always illegal! Now anything goes. Lord help us.
