Anyone know what high Anglican means? A doctrine and practice within the Church of England emphasizing the Catholic tradition. As the C of E has moved towards more progressive views, a group of "high" Anglicans approached the pope and asked to be received into the Catholic Church. This has resulted in The Anglican Use Rite within the Catholic Church.
