Studying the Bible instead of dull text books would probably work out better. Of course, they’d probably come out not being Catholic though, but that’s fine with Christ.

So, what happens to Protestant kids when they study history and science?

Perhaps you should switch to an unabridged original version.

They couldn't possibly come out Catholic if they studied and believed the bible...And you can bet that a bible doesn't come any where near those students...

You may have a point! Please show me what the Bible says about in-vitro fertilization, contraception and divorce ... what does it say about two people living together outside of marriage. I'll grant you the graphics in the Baltimore Catechism are dated but the material is current, all of it based on scripture.

To ALL who think that Catholics don’t read the Bible. CATHOLICS WROTE THE BIBLE! If you read the Bible you will become a Christian...if you read the Early Church Fathers you will become a Catholic. May God Bless you all.

That is hilarious, reading the Bible got me back to being Catholic, and made Tim Staples and Scott Hahn Catholic.

Yes, we know that Protestants rely on the Bible alone and do not follow the traditions of man:

Nor should we forget that St. Jerome, who translated the entire Bible into Latin left the Catholic Church. In reality the Catholic Church has been studying the Bible for 2000 years. For those who are interested advanced degrees in Sacred Scriptures are available at the Catholic University of America.
