I'll forgive you of the personal insult. There is no indication that neither Jesus nor the Disciples were to ever become what is now recognized as being Catholic. They did not frequent stained glass churches with statuary. No rosary beads. No praying the dead out of purgatory. They especially would not pay nor receive payment for indulgences. The decadence of the Papal Palace would be repulsive to them. The wealth of the Church would astonish them. The history of martyrdom would cause them to turn up their heels and leave your institution forever.
