My father died the monday before an Easter. I turned the radio on in his room and the most wonderful chant music and choir music was availabe. I put it on softly by his bed. I wonder if he thought he was hearing angels?
Our little bitty start-out Schola Cantorum is just figuring out how to sing the Easter-to-Pentecost music. The Regina Caeli and Vidi Aquam are challenging to us, but entirely worth the effort: the music is so uplifting to hearts. I hope the Angels welcomed your father with a good Vidi Aquam, and Our Lord said: "Here comes My dear pilgrim. Let him be refreshed!"
