Thanks for these... I would recommend New2Torah on Youtube too... He's great. nice little 10-15 minute bit pieces, easy going and comfortable style. Answers a lot of the common questions in very simple and easy to understand ways. Passion for Truth and Lex Meyer's 'Unlearn', and 119 Ministries, all available from New2Torah's links are also good. @winodog: Start slow and think. For me, the primary and easiest evidence is Sabbath - Anyone who says the Sabbath day (and the Holy Days) has changed cannot be speaking with authority from the Father. And if they are wrong in this one simple thing, then why trust them with anything?
And as for action, I began with keeping Sabbath (sundown friday to sundown saturday). Dedicate that one day to simple rest and seeking the Father. Try to have leftovers or sandwich fixings ready, try to avoid work, make no purchases... Use the time as a blessing - Walk up to a quiet place in the woods and read the Bible... Stay home and study in your den... Take time for joy and rest with your family.
He promises to bless you for keeping it... And if you are like me, you won't believe how precious that day will become. It is my favorite day of the week.
