Actually, the important bit they left out was Lot offering his virgin daughters to the men of the city. I guess they didn't want to offend viewers by depicting what the Bible really says.

Yea I reckon some Freepers wanted some good ole gay sex scenes in it. Maybe the actors objected? Maybe scenes were in there that did show homosexual activity and even bestiality but some were too busy screening the movie to notice. I saw it. What did they need to make it realistic enough?

The angels came to Sodom for two reasons one was to destroy it. Another because of Abraham's pleas to GOD was to seek out {TEST} persons to see who was righteous. Some bashed the part about the two angels fighting to leave Sodom. Yet in Daniel we are told Michael did indeed engage in battle trying to reach Daniel.

It's really sad. Someone persons decide to make a fairly accurate dramatization based on The Bible to tell the history and The Gospel and some insist on making this of all things about Barak Obama. When the movie makers honestly said the character of Satan was not meant to look like Obama some in here then went nuclear on them.

It's the same type who will bash The Pope, bash Billy Graham, bash whoever preaches different than Brother Bubba down at First Whatever Church. Only Jesus Christ was perfect. This movie maybe hopefully helped bring some lost souls to Christ. For that we should hope and pray. That should be cause for celebration. Not some stupid childish temper tantrum over the makers political beliefs.

GOD uses imperfect people for His reasons to His Glory and will. Mel Gibson for example did a great movie The Passion of Christ. But Mel Gibson has some serious problems in his personal life that torment him. He's human.

"What did they need to make it realistic enough?"

The problem isn't that they didn't depict it realistic enough. The problem is that there was no mention of it at all as if it didn't happen that way.
