You’re comparing a science fiction series with the Bible, a Holy book literally warns people against adding or taking away from the word of God at penalty of everlasting hellfire.

That’s ridiculous. A film adaptation doesn’t equate to the actual Bible, and if you think it does then you’re the one with a problem. Nevermind that, according to that definition, EVERY SINGLE BIBLICAL FILM EVER MADE is a bad thing, because they ALL leave something out. I have yet to see the movie or tv show which included every single word of the Bible.
