Actually, Cardinal Dolan prayed for these things at both conventions...did he not?
I listened to both prayers. Believe me the life issues were superemphasized and much more specific at the DNC convention. He knew he didn’t have to be as specific at the RNC. And he made it clear by his words that he was the antithesis of what the Rats stand for.
This was an obvious political message to the Rats, and, as a Catholic, I am super proud of him.
Don’t count on him ever being invited to the DNC again.
