Whatever Mormonism’s foundation, it is still a religious faith, but not one I adhere to (although I am sure there are some elements that correspond to my faith). This country was founded, in large part, upon religious freedom. And of course we are all entitled to support or not support a candidate for whatever reason we like. For me, I choose not to oppose a candidate based upon religious beliefs, unless those beliefs propose to directly attack the Constitution and laws of the US.
When you learn about mormonISM and the foundation is important, the information about your concerns will be answered. Assuming that you actually want to know.

Mormonism does just that...
I, however, will oppose false teaching whereEVER it rears it's ugly head.
If a 'candidate' happens to be a practioner of these false beliefs; that is NO reason not to continue my quest.
